Gear change device for gear box of motor car, has shift fork mechanically decoupled from synchronous sleeve by locking finger after self-locking intervention of synchronous clutch toothed ring into synchronous toothed ring
The device (1) has a compensating device limiting displacement (10) of a shift fork (6). Teeth of a synchronous clutch toothed ring (14) of the synchronous sleeve (7) and teeth of a synchronous toothed ring (15) of a gear toothed wheel (16) are profiled such that the sleeve lies at the toothed wheel in a stress-free and self-locking manner. The shift fork is mechanically decoupled from the synchronous sleeve by a locking finger (40) after self-locking intervention of the synchronous clutch toothed ring into the synchronous toothed ring. An independent claim is also included for a method for compensating production tolerances of a gear box.
