The air-ball sole has a thin and flexible safety outsole, a perspiration-absorbing upper sole and an air-ball midsole. Air-filled or gas-filled polymeric air-ball beads are embedded in elastomeric foam. Diameter of the polymeric air-ball beads is in the range of 3-7 mm.
