The method involves selecting a design for the presentation of information from a number of possible designs, and displaying the information on an image screen (4) using the chosen design. The selection of the design is done by a user. The number of possible designs is stored in a local storage unit of the vehicle (1). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a combination instrument comprises an image screen for graphical presentation of information; and (2) a computer program product for graphical representation of information on an image screen of a vehicle.
