Dual mass flywheel for damping torsional vibrations in drivetrain of motor vehicle, has secondary centrifugal mass assigned to transmission part of vehicle, and releasing device provided to open through hole of primary centrifugal mass
The flywheel (1) has a primary centrifugal mass (7) and a secondary centrifugal mass (11) assigned to an internal combustion engine (3) and a transmission part (9) of a motor vehicle (5), respectively. The primary centrifugal mass includes a production-limited through hole (17). A releasing device (21) is provided to open the through hole. The primary centrifugal mass and the releasing device define a lubricant chamber (25). The releasing device includes a ring section and is fixed on a circular ring. The releasing device is made of sheet metal or plastic material.
