The train has two drive units (E1, E2) driven independently with each other, and a pick-up gear (ED) provided with two gear input shafts and a common gear output shaft. The pick-up gear exhibits hollow wheels that are connected with the respective input shafts. One of the units i.e. combustion motor such as two-cylinder boxer motor, is connected with the one of the input shafts and other unit i.e. electric motor, is connected with other input shaft such that speed or power produced by the units is introduced and combined in a common planetary carrier.
