The method involves generating an outputs (100, 200) e.g. images, by image sensors (10, 20) e.g. cameras, during detection of an object (5). The outputs are classified by a classifier of an object detection system (1), and confidential information e.g. calibration parameters and imaging parameters, of the classifiers are determined for calibrating the sensors. The confidential information of the classifiers is maximized for calibrating the sensors, and the calibration is performed during normal operation of the sensors based on object arrangement.
