The free-wheel has an outer ring (2) rotated relative to an inner ring (1) in a direction of rotation and radially arranged around the inner ring. Role-shaped clamping bodies (3) are arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring, and include a clamping body springing for subjecting the clamping bodies with spring force of an absorption spring i.e. S-leaf spring (5). The spring is mounted in a swiveling retainer (6) that is rotated around a center of rotation (M6) such that pre-loading of the spring is adjustable by the rotation of the retainer around the center of rotation.
