The actuator has a cooling circuit connecting unit for realization of a cooling medium inlet and/or a cooling medium outlet. A cooling element (3a) for cooling the actuator is connected to an external cooling circuit via the unit. The inlet and the outlet are realized by a cooling medium inlet element (4a) and a cooling medium outlet element (4b), respectively. The inlet and outlet elements are arranged within the actuator such that the inlet and/or the outlet is accessible from different actuator sides, where the inlet element and/or the outlet element is arranged at the cooling element.
