A fetus skeleton is reproduced (50) with a medical diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Ultrasound samples of the fetus skeleton, data of detecting (40) at a rate which is sufficient to avoid some of the fetus movement artefacts, compared with a magnetic resonance tomography or computer tomography. In order to better visualize the fetus skeleton, the computed tomography data are used in order to fetus bone tissue to segmenting (42). Without repeating the segmentation and without adjustments of the volume thickness, the skeleton of other directions are visualized.
