The wheel drive arrangement (1) has an electric drive machine (4), which is pivotally mounted on a wheel guiding part (6) supported on a chassis frame. A drive shaft (8) of the electric drive machine is arranged at an angle to the vehicle longitudinal axis (F-L). The drive shaft is indirectly coupled with the driven wheel (2) by a bevel gear. The bevel gear is formed as hypoid gear (9) and is completely arranged within the axial extension area of the wheel. An independent claim is also included for a drive system with an energy supply unit.
