Lysimeter lower boundary condition controlling method, involves providing porous filter plate with high thermal conductivity at same voltage and temperature of water from water volume of soil column transferred to lysimeter
The method involves providing a porous filter plate (2) with high thermal conductivity at the same voltage and temperature of the water from water volume of the soil column transferred to a lysimeter. The water volume under the filter plate is fed over external heat exchangers (1) for adjusting a temperature reference value. The water is circulated between the filter plate and the heat exchangers by a pump (4) from a water tank (5) to vent the water. The water stress under the filter plate is controlled by the air pressure in the tank. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling a lower boundary condition in a lysimeter.
