Torsional vibration damper i.e. two-mass oscillating wheel, for use between internal combustion engine and transmission in drive train of motor vehicle, has tension springs radially arranged and suspended in input and output parts
The damper (1) has an input part (8), and an output part (2) that is rotatable against the effect of tension springs (6). The tension springs are arranged in a radial manner and suspended in the input part and in the output part in a rotatable manner in a circumferential direction, where spring deflection of the springs is limited by overload protection devices (26, 27). The overload protection devices are formed through limitation of a rotating angle of the output part against the input part. A tension element i.e. steel cable, is formed between the input and output part.
