The device i.e. baking oven (1), has an outer housing (2) comprising side walls (4, 5), and an air guide channel (12) formed at the side walls. The guide channel is formed inside the housing, and a boundary wall of the guide channel is formed by inner side of the side walls and another boundary wall is formed by a U-shaped channel part (13) that is detachably arranged at the housing. The channel part is suspended at the side walls by a hanging connector, and comprises hook elements (15, 16) at an upper edge (14).
