The method involves storing data of energy content (L) of an electrical accumulator of a motor car in a memory device. The data is accessed by a computing device. An optical evaluation representation (1) comprising information with first data (2) and second data (3) is generated, where the first data and second data indicate the energy content of the accumulator at different end-times (T1-T4) of a charging process. The representation is displayed on a picture screen of the computing device.
