A parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens and a tunable external cavity laser diode including the same are provided to enhance performance of a wavelength multiplexing system by integrating a gain medium and a parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens. A semiconductor-based parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens includes an input manual waveguide(401) and a parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens(402). An end of the input manual waveguide and an incident end of the parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens are positioned at a focus F(a,0). The parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens is formed with a pair of symmetrical parabolic waveguides. An initial width(405) of the parabolic waveguide-type collimated lens uses a width of 4a. The magnitude of a parallel beam(403) is determined by a width(406) of the output terminal.
