The method involves storing a set of control instructions in compressed form on a memory such as ROM, where the instructions are associated to technical functions e.g. motor vehicle diagnostic functions, utilized for less number of times during total utilization duration of a logic controller. Another set of control instructions is stored in uncompressed form on the memory, where the latter set of instructions is associated to technical functions utilized for large number of times during the total utilization duration of the logic controller. An independent claim is also included for a method for executing control instructions stored in a ROM.
