The process involves measuring carbon dioxide rate of a predetermined period in regular time intervals. A confinement index is determined from the measurements at the end of measurements of the rate of the carbon dioxide. A level of confinement is reduced until the level reaches a carbon dioxide rate equal to a predetermined threshold that is less than another threshold when the measurement of the rate of carbon dioxide exceeds the predetermined threshold. An independent claim is also included for a device for regulating and controlling level of confinement of indoor air.
