The device has a bottomless introduction chamber (1) traversed by a maintaining support (2) on which a neck (6) of a glass bottle is positioned. A pestle (4) strikes the glass bottle in center of a base (5) before breaking the glass bottle. The pestle is knocked relative to the base of the glass bottle. Shape of the pestle produces initial impact in the center of the base of the glass bottle on a pointed part. Edges push pieces of the glass bottle at the bottom of the chamber.
