The resolver has a stator (40) mounted on a case of a motor, where the resolver is assembled in the case possessing a bag structure from the exterior A stator core (50) comprises teeth (51) for surrounding the external circumference of a rotor. Stator windings (53) are mounted on the teeth of the stator core by first and second slit insulators (60, 70). A protection cover covering the windings is provided on the first insulator and not on the second insulator.
