The profile (20) has a maintenance matrix (24) made of a thermoplastic material i.e. polypropylene, and presenting a linear thermal expansion coefficient. A set of continuous glass fibers has a linear thermal expansion coefficient connected to the matrix and extending in a longitudinal direction of a section, where the set of fibers includes a thin metal strip (23). The fibers are positioned such that linear thermal expansion coefficient is constant on all sections of the profile. The matrix maintains the fibers integrated with each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sealing joint including a sealing profile (2) a process for manufacturing a sealing profile.
