The strip (1) has a sealing material i.e. ethylene propylene diene rubber, made of thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomer. A glass fiber structure (2) i.e. thin walled element, prevents thermal expansion of the sealing material. A longitudinal extension of the glass fiber structure is extended along a longitudinal direction of the sealing strip main portion. The glass fiber structure is arranged within a supporting section (4). The sealing material is made of polypropylene or styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene. A counter element (210) is made of thermoplastic i.e. polypropylene.
