摘要

The method involves shaping a support forming rigid body of a card by laminating and/or molding the body, where dimensions of the card are defined by a 1D-1 format of ISO 7816standard. A cavity (30) is machined for receiving a switch i.e. push button, in the body. The switch is placed in the cavity. The cavity is closed using an elastically deformable piece (32) arranged at a right side of a switch actuation unit (28) such that application of predefined compression force of the piece against the switch actuation unit causes actuation of the switch. An independent claim is also included for a card incorporating a switch.
