The block has a board (1) made of wood or agglomerate, and a mineral wool extension (2) fixed on the board, where a side wall of the wool extension is formed in a vertical or oblique manner. The extension comprises two superimposed blocks with different densities. The wool extension comprises side faces that are provided with a bias part (3), where height of the extension is greater than 1 cm. The board rests on edges of a heel of concrete beams. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a hollow block for concrete upper floor slab.
