The method involves optimizing estimation of vendable payload for minimizing profit criterion based on modification cost of the vendable payload during takeoff time and final knowledge of actual maximum payload. Weather forecast information on local conditions at time is received, and maximum payload distribution law is calculated. A value of the vendable payload is calculated based on wind data. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product comprising set of code instructions for executing a method for calculating estimation of vendable payload at given instant.
