Human LIV21 complex sequences (I) comprising nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 171-175, small interfering (si)RNA sequence derived from RNA sequences of SEQ ID NO: 120 and SEQ ID NO 121, and SEQ ID NO: 171-175; and a protein fraction comprising at least SEQ ID NO: 1 and 181 or a sequence having 90%, preferably 70% identity with the SEQ ID NO: 1 and 181 and SEQ ID NO: 183 or a sequence having 70, 80 or 90% identity with the SEQ ID NO: 183, are new, where the sequences are not defined. An independent claim is included for a method for detecting human LIV21 complex comprising implementation of at least one specific probe of at least one LIV21 complex sequence.
