The present invention relates to a method and device for reducing interference between a first type of signal carrier current (is) transmitted between two modems (m) of an electrical network (re) and a second signal (s) transmitted between two modems (m) of another network (r), said signals (se, s) being encoded by the distribution of the data on the carrier frequencies allocated to a given frequency band bf reserved ().
