The transmission has a robotic gearbox (1) including a primary shaft (3) that is connected to an input clutch (17) and supports idle gear pinions (9, 12, 13, 16). The gearbox has a secondary shaft (18) supporting fixed ratio pinions (22, 26-29) that engage with the idle gear speed pinions and a drive pinion (19) on a differential gear (21) of a vehicle. The primary shaft is rotatably connected to a fly-wheel (2) of an engine in a permanent manner. A hollow counter shaft (4) is connected to the fly-wheel via the input clutch.
