The composition according to the invention makes it possible to color the keratin fibers under mild oxidizing conditions even without using an oxidation base and an aromatic amine while covering a wide color palette with 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene derivatives. The coloration under oxidizing conditions observed operates under mild oxidation and / or alkaline conditions, especially in air, and does not generate an unpleasant odor.
