The adapter has a multifunction jack (10) provided with a pair of lodging unit that is connected with a neutral and a phase of a power supply. The multifunction jack comprises an optical connector (14) for establishing an optical link between optical fibers. The optical connector comprises an internal cavity that is provided with a front access opening and a rear access opening, where the openings are connected with optical jacks by retaining units. Projection units are connected to the optical connector.
