The method involves fixing a set of anchoring rods (12) in corresponding orifices (20) arranged in predetermined locations of a terrain (11) to be stabilized, where each opening comprises a length for providing resistance to erosion for each anchoring rod. A set of reinforced concrete spalls (13) is fixed on the anchoring rods, where each spall is traversed by the anchoring rods and spaced from the terrain to create a drainage space (15) between the terrain and the spalls. The drainage space is filled with a drainage material (17). An independent claim is also included for a terrain stabilizing structure comprising a set of anchor rods.
