The panel (1) has a felt-based back-spring layer (2) covered by a non-woven right layer (3), where the back-spring layer includes two areas (4, 5) comprising different surface densities. One of the areas of the back-spring layer presents surface density comprised between 400 and 800 gram per square meter. The other area of the back-spring layer presents surface density comprised between 1000 and 1800 gram per square meter. The right layer presents surface density comprised between 40 and 150 gram per square meter. An independent claim is also included for a panel mounting architecture comprising a carpet covering an inner zone of a panel.
