The device (1) has a flexible envelope (2) placed on a pair of spectacles (L) to completely cover a front face of the pair of spectacles. A tubular sleeve (6) is integrated with the envelope, and receives two branches (B) of the pair of spectacles when the envelope is placed on the pair of spectacles. The envelope is provided with a longitudinal opening (5) partially edged by a slide. The slide includes elastic wires to assure partial closing of the opening. An inner face of the envelope is partially formed by a material utilized to wiping glasses of the spectacles.
