The assembly (1) has an elastic fixation clip (5) fixing a trim element (3) on a structure of a motor vehicle, where the trim element and the fixation clip are molded with one another. The fixation clip is provided with an internal volume. The fixation clip is provided with a main veil (13) that is provided with a base (19). The base is integrated with the trim element. The main veil defines the inner volume along a direction and a locking relief (23). Another main veil (15) defines the inner volume along another direction perpendicular to the former direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an interior trim assembly of a motor vehicle.
