The method involves applying reinforcement fiber layers (14a, 14b, 14c) braided around a mandrel, where the fiber layers are superimposed with each other. A reinforcing fiber intermediate layer is cut after application of the fiber layers. A cutting part is withdrawn before application of a braided layer to locally constitute a reinforcing fiber wedge on a level of each cut layer part, where the wedge constitutes a local reinforcement of the rod. A resin is injected in various braided layers before polymerizing the resin to constitute a raw rod.
