The assembly has a thermal engine, an alterno-starter and an air-conditioning compressor attached to the thermal engine by a driving pulley (10) mounted on a crankshaft (12) of the thermal engine. An uncoupling unit uncouples the pulley from the crankshaft. A free wheel (15) of the uncoupling unit is in a blocking direction when the thermal engine is turned, and is in a runway direction when the thermal engine is turned off. Synchronization units (14) synchronize the crankshaft with the pulley during starting phases of the thermal engine for driving the thermal engine by the pulley.
