The method involves successively bringing cores (25) during rotation of a rotating part (10), to two fixed work posts, including an injection molding post (13) of preforms on the cores and a blow-molding post (14). Each preform is transferred in rotation by the corresponding core from the injection molding post to the blow-molding post. The preform is brought to the blow-molding post in its definitive form by compressed air insufflations between the core and an inner surface of the preform. An independent claim is also included for a tool for molding a hollow body in plastic material by a hot cycle injection blow technique.
