The system has a blade actuator modifying a pitch of a blade of a wind turbine and equipped with an asynchronous motor (1). A variator (7) is coupled to the asynchronous motor, and is connected to an electric network. A coder measures rotation speed of the blade around longitudinal axis. An electro-mechanic contactor (8) is mounted on the varaitor, and is controlled by a switch (16). A contactor closure is arranged for stopping functioning of the variator. The wind turbine is equipped with a mechanical device (17) connected with the electro-mechanic contactor. An independent claim is also included for an aerogenerator type wind turbine.
