The device has two vertical arms (A1, A2) extensible in height and width. The vertical arms are mounted on top of two clamps (12, 14) that allow maintenance of two corners of a duvet cover. Lifting gantries (B1, B2, B3) are provided with multiple manually opened clamps (23-26) for gripping an assembly formed of a duvet edge between the maintained corners covered by an upper edge of the duvet cover through an exterior side. Articulations are placed on bases of the vertical arms for folding the vertical arms on a frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for threading and unthreading of duvet covers.
