The cover (1'') has an upper panel forming an envelope with a rectangular main face (11) and lateral panels. A rectangular side (17) has an edge fixed to a foot panel (14) along a corner edge that is perpendicular to a foot edge (C) and another edge fixed on the main face along a longitudinal edge. A third edge of the side is parallel to the latter edge of the side and is fixed to a return panel (15) along an edge perpendicular to the foot edge, so that the rectangular side is placed between the lateral panels. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a duvet cover.
