The stage (12) has a rectifier assembled inside a casing (22) and formed of an annular row of fixed vanes (20) connected to an external annular platform (32). The platform has an anchoring unit anchored on the casing and a heat insulation unit assembled in an annular cavity (42) formed between the platform and the casing. The heat insulation unit has a rigid annular structure (66) enclosed by an envelope (68) made of a compressible and heat insulating material. The envelope is pre-stressed on the casing and the rectifier and arranged in continuous contact with the casing and the rectifier. The rigid annular structure has a metal strip (70) enclosing a multi-layer cellular structure (67) e.g. metal or composite honeycomb structure.
