The turbine has a rotor wheel (105) mounted in a sectorized ring carried by an external casing (104). A sectorized distributor is assembled downstream of the wheel and fixed on the casing. Ring sectors (106) comprise fixing units (113) at upstream, and comprise an axial support unit (130) and radial support units (128, 129) at downstream for ensuring sealing and radial positioning of the sectors, respectively. The support units cooperate with the distributor, and are not in contact with the casing to avoid heating, by conduction, of the casing by the ring during operation. The fixing units are not in contact with the casing. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a turbine of a turbomachine.
