The assembly (1) has an air intake screen (2) formed of a frame, and a radial edge (20) extending around the frame. A lining element (6) extends on a front face (30) of the radial edge. A support element (4) of the air intake screen includes a peripheral longitudinal wall (26) surrounding an opening (28) that is arranged next to fins (10, 12) of the air intake screen and a peripheral edge (22). A rear face of the radial edge of the air intake screen is arranged against the peripheral edge.
