The device has one vertical upright (1) and another vertical upright that are maintained in a deviated position via hollow spacers arranged in upper and lower parts of the uprights, respectively. Compressing units e.g. anvil roller and drive roller, are placed between the uprights in a space created by the spacers, where a plastic sheathed electric cable to be removed is introduced in the units via a guide fixed to the uprights by two screws. An upper protective cover (11) and a lower protective cover (9) are fixed to the uprights via eight screws (3) to separate the sheath from the cable.
