The dry toilet (1) has a collecting tray for receiving excrements and a biological litter that is selected from sawdust and peat, and a base (8) arranged around an opening (9) formed at a plumb of the tray. A control device (15) actuates a discharging unit e.g. roller, for discharging the litter from a biological litter tank i.e. transparent bag. The discharging unit is mobile in rotation around a horizontal axis, and includes housing to discharge the litter in the tray. A returning mechanism ensures automatic return of a mobile lever from a lower position towards an upper position.
