The device (1) has a control unit (2) and a cutting unit (3) cutting a principal power supply of an equipment of a motor vehicle. A power supply unit (4) supplies power to the equipment. An electric resistor (10) is arranged to delude the principal power supply with the equipment of the vehicle. The electric resistor is electrically connected from a side to the principal power supply of the equipment and mass of the vehicle. An ohmic value of the resistor is equal to an ohmic value of the equipment. An independent claim is also included for a rear light of a motor vehicle comprising an electric source.
