The device (1) has a self-regulated and flexible heating wire (4) cooperating with a heat dissipation unit (2) i.e. fin, to heat air flow (F) traversing the heating device. The wire is formed by an electric core enclosed by a mineral material. The core and the mineral material are placed inside an electrically insulating and thermally conducting hollow cylinder. The heat dissipation unit is supported by the wire. An electric connector is associated with the wire. A frame defines a heating space (8) through which circulation of the air flow occurs. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electric heating device.
