The method involves inserting a lighting unit e.g. LED, in a case of a lighting device. Exposing parts of conductor legs are engaged in rigid tubes (3, 3') or slitters whose upper ends are provided with coaxial cavities, where each rigid tube or slitter has a pointed, tapered or beveled lower end, and is fully or partially made of an electrically conductive material e.g. cold-drawn aluminum and stainless steel. Each of the tubes is fixed to the conductor legs and/or the case. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lighting device placed in an electric current distribution panel (2) a lighting assembly comprising an electric current distribution panel with electrically conductive material films.
