The pouch (1) has a storage space (5) for receiving electronic or paper documents (6) e.g. identity papers. A wireless communication unit (10) includes a universal serial bus (USB)port (11), to connect the jacket to a computer. A storage unit stores data e.g. traveling data such as ticket number, received from the computer. An electronic data display unit (7) i.e. LCD screen, restores the data stored in the storage unit. A supply unit includes an energy production unit (8) e.g. photovoltaic cell and battery, to supply power to the electronic data display unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring data between a computer and a document-case jacket.
