The support (2) has a clip (4) including a movable clamping unit (8) moved with respect to a fixed clamping unit (6) so as to be spaced from the fixed unit for opening the clip and allowing insertion of a portable electronic apparatus (3) between the units. The units are brought closer to close the clip and to tighten the apparatus between the units. A locking device (16) is activated to lock the clip in an open position or deactivated to release the units with respect to each other and allow the closing of the clip under the effect of an elastic return unit (14) e.g. torsion spring.
