Food product comprises a paste, where the paste comprises egg, and at least one cereal product, the paste further comprises a first polyol sweetener and at least one second sweetener different from the first sweetener such as glycerin and/or sorbitol, the paste has a content of first sweetener of 4-12 mass%, and a content of the second sweetener of 2-9 mass% of the cooked and dry paste. An independent claim is included for a preparation of the food product comprising the paste comprising forming the paste by mixing the egg, at least one cereal product, the first polyol sweetener and at least one second sweetener different from the first sweetener comprising glycerin and/or sorbitol, where the paste has: a content of egg of 20-30 wt.%; a content of the cereal product of 20-30%; a content of the first sweetener of 4-12%; and a content of the second sweetener of 2-9 wt.% of the uncooked wet paste.
